Looks amazing from the outside, decorated well but very cramped seating.Had breakfast with family. The pancakes and berries were three small flat pancakes covered in warm berries. The ice cream was the best part. I had expected fluffy pancakes but these were very lacking in texture and flavour. The bacon was fatty and the fried eggs still had parts of the white runny. Apparently the milkshake was ok and served in the silver container. The hot chocolate was very small. All in all a very disappointing experience. I won't be back. There are other places that serve better food and portions, better service and much cheaper.

To say a visit to this former rum bond store on the banks of the Hunter River is a walk back in time may be a cliche but it is extremely apt. Everything from the sandstone colonial architecture to many of the goods on display/ for sale upstairs speak of the past of this once important river trading port. Oh yes ... they also do excellent food, cakes and coffee. So whether you are in Morpeth for an extended visit or just passing through with a yearning for caffeine, make sure to visit here. For those on a gluten free diet, yes you can also find sweet sustenance here.

Savannah on Swan is a lovely venue for a relaxed lunch with friends. Speed is not the name of the game, but the food was tasty, nicely presented, well priced and the menu offered a good variety of light luncheon dishes. BYO was an added advantage. The courtyard was very pleasant on a sunny day. Service was pretty basic, and it would have been preferable to have water to the table rather than the bottle and plastic children's mugs on the side table. The toilet was an interesting challenge!

Have a very relaxing hour or so here for a late breakfast. Lunch menu had actually already kicked in but they were still able, after checking with the chef, to provide an item from the breakfast menu, being eggs benedict, which was just superb. The building itself is heritage, so much character and charm in the place and such a great spot to grab a meal. All very relaxed and comfortable. We'll definitely be back! We enjoyed our lunch in the outdoor area, out the back which had a lovely atmosphere. My family found the service good and our food was served in good time. The food was delicious and there was a good menu selection.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and morning tea. The location is sublime overlooking the river and the building just full of history. Have a great eclectic shop. The coffee was great and the cakes fresh and delicious.
