Big group of uni students, everyone paid for their food individually and made sure we had paid for everything on each table. And yet at the end of the evening the manager tells us that there is £80 unaccounted for! We challenged this and each one of us showed our bank accounts and cross-checked that the same money on the bill had been taken out of our account. After showing this, the manager quickly back tracked and that number of £80 miraculously reduced to £25! Having not visited Savera since the first wave of Covid , I returned tonight with my partner for my birthday meal out. I'm happy to report that our chosen dishes saag paneer, Markhani dahl, vegetable Handi's Specialities and pilau rice) were all delicious. The service was friendly, the table was very nicely set and the ambience was relaxed and pleasant. The place looks like it's had a facelift since our last visit and was bright and cheery. Great to find the Savera is still a great place good food and a pleasant evening out.
I've been visiting or taking away from the Savera for 20 years and their quality is second to none. On this occasion I had the Punjabi chicken. It was superb! The chicken was prime breast not the reformed or poor quality that some places do. It was pretty hot but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the spicing. The sundries were all nice too with a fresh complimentary side salad and various dips.
Delicious food, packed well and ready on time. We ordered vegetarian dishes including paneer dishes- each was as described in terms of strength so children were able to enjoy mild dishes whilst my wife had a medium jalfrezi and I had the hot. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. Journey home was 7 minutes and food was perfect temperature to eat without faff of reheating.

The service at this restaurant was terrible, we did not feel welcomed at all. Despite having a booking, they claimed we didn't and almost made us leave before we even got our food. On the bright side, the food was amazing. I would only recommend getting takeout from this place as it's not worth the hassle and negative energy of dining in.
I always look forward to ordering from savera. Eating is always ready for the collection, there is a friendly atmosphere and the curries are diverse and delicious. I also love the range of appetitzüglers and I am quite convinced that they have the best peshwari naan brot I ever had. guaranteed to be delicious!
The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, and the food was delicious! I have tried many curries in my lifetime, and this one was really top-notch.
