I love Indian food deeply. When I don't have time to make it at home, Sawan is my go-to. They aren't the closest place to me, but worth a drive to dine in or take out. Super fresh, super nice staff, master-class cuisine. Oh, and great prices to boot. If there is any criticism, it's that when you ask for extra-spicy, it doesn't seem to happen. The meal begins with complimentary papads served with three different dipping sauces, ranging from savory to sweet to slightly spicy. The papads are a bit salty, but provide a nice crunchy start to the meal. We ordered the chicken makhani, lamb Rogan Josh, sag paneer, and garlic naan. I can't praise this restaurant enough! The directions were followed perfectly and the food was not only authentic but also delicious! I haven't tried the bread yet, but I'm sure it's just as amazing as the main dishes. The meat was incredibly tender and the flavors were fantastic without being too spicy. This is definitely my top choice for Indian restaurants from now on. Thank you!
