I was in town back in September for a festival and we got up Saw?s on the way to day one. Holy smokes chicken thighs Batman. These bad boys were so good, I?m still thinking of them months later. So damn good. Cool vibe, great staff, I don?t know much about Birmingham but if I?m ever back in town, I?m going to Saw?s first.
What a phenomenal experience! We have had one of the best meals in our lives. Seriously, no joke. The BBQ was on point, the atmosphere and service was perfection. Highly recommend @sawssoulkitchen ! Shout out to Brandon! We appreciate the warm welcome and history on the place. . . .

Awesome BBQ! My husband got the chicken thighs and said it may be the best food he?s ever eaten. My pulled chicken with white sauce was also great, and the cheese grits were amazing too. We had Diane as our server who was very sweet and attentive.
Only base plate has juice because I didn't eat bread. I have smoked chicken thigh plate with Greens Coleslaw and fried tomatoes. Perfect stop before a show in Saturn. That's amazing.
I've always heard the expression that the food is so good it makes you wanna slap your momma- well I found a place where that is the deal!
