Schachtner´s Grainau

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Schachtner's Restaurant and wish I could give more than 5 stars. This was by far our favourite restaurant in the week stay we had in Garmisch. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from the hostess, very pretty dining room that was both modern but felt cozy and the best part the AMAZING food, beer and wine we had the pleasure to eat and drink. All the positive reviews are well deserved and we would happily come back.

Visited the former “Heiss’n Stuben” at Schachtners for the first time. It was brilliant: cozy atmosphere, the 3 course surprise menu was perfect...every course was a poem in itself...starter, intermediate course, main course incredibly delicious. Absolute recommendation....Thank you for having the courage to open such a top shop in Grainau.

We had the five course surprise menu. It was fantastic. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Every course is a work of art and a taste experience. The price of €79 is absolutely reasonable! The service is very friendly and accommodating, each course is explained in detail. We will definitely come back on our next vacation in Grainau.

We were able to enjoy a 3-course meal with very welcoming hosts. Our individual wishes were taken into account and no wishes were left unfulfilled. Top quality and impressive craftsmanship. One of the best restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of visiting! Réservez une table maintenant

The food was absolutely delicious. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The best meal of our entire trip. Not only was the food amazing but the service was above and beyond. They were so kind in welcoming us. We look forward to eating there again :

Amazing experience the food is wonderful, the service is super kind and the communication with the restaurant is easy and very pleasant. They also seriously took into account all of our special wishes due to allergies, which is a rare thing. Thank you!

Spent my 40th birthday there. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. We'd love to come back. It's a win for Grainau, so people are happy to pay a little more.
