We had originally wanted to dine at the Hotel Falken but turned up without a reservation and could not get in (there was 12 of us) but the lady was very helpful and took us round to a near adjoining restaurant which we had initially dismissed. The staff inside were very helpful and accomadated the children in a small cubicle and us scattered round a quaint triple tiered set of tables. The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food selection was limited mainly to flat bread and salads but these were massive portions and the different topped flatbreads you got were a wide selection. The salads were massive as well. Next to the Falken Hotel, this pub is an excellent option for those who want to drink a beer or have a good --simple-- dinner for a moderate price. If you go on a Tuesday and want to have dinner inside, you may expect it to be full, since it only has 6 tables for dinner and the Falken restaurant is usually closed on Tuesdays. With good weather, it also has a terrace. My recommendation is that you try their "fladenbrote", similar to pizzas, but with the cheese on the top of the rest of the ingredients.

The swing horse is in Baiersbronn-Oberdorf. In a rustic atmosphere at large tables or at the counter as well as in summer on the sunny terrace you can eat delicious and choose among a great selection of drinks. In addition to delicious baked bread (vegetarian, with sausage or tuna) there are various salad plates. The food is always delicious and the service friendly. The barrel (a rebuilt wine barrel) can accommodate about 10 people. In the evening you should book.

Nous sommes tombés sur le restaurant pub traditionnel en rencontrant une famille dans la région. Menu simple, bonnes salades et quelques vins délicieux. Vaut le détour si vous êtes dans la région. Le personnel ne parlait pas beaucoup anglais mais notre commande était parfaite à la livraison

Nous avons dîné tard ici car le kithcen était fermé les autres endroits où nous avons essayé. Nous avons eu une pizza comme un plat, que nous n'aimions pas, elle était couverte de beaucoup de chese et servie avec un salat qui a été noyé dans la compétition.

Au départ, nous voulions dîner à l'hôtel Falken, mais nous sommes arrivés sans réservation et nous ne pouvions pas entrer, mais la dame était très serviable et nous a emmenés dans un restaurant voisin que nous avions au départ. Réservez une table maintenant

I stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. Whilst not a large menu it was great value and did not disappoint in any way.
