A pub you must love or hate. The pub is not much designed but I love it as it is. I love the rocking chair on the wall too. Another detail and always a story worth is the phone box and it is still working. Something not that nice is the bathroom, probably more important for women. Therefore, you should not spend too much time there. The staff is always friendly but sometimes you need to ask for attention. However, if you have been there a lot, you get what you want as you come in to the room. All together the pub is nice and I love to go there for a beer or even more. It is worth to try it!
A real original in Düsseldorf's Old Town! For Rockfans this pub is actually a must, pleasing music, ambience, pleasant audience. And if you want a mosquito bite, just go a door further short, the beer comes from there directly from the brewery into the **** from the swing stall. On weekends, it's muttered, that's what you're supposed to do.
It's a loud, dirty alternative-type of bar with decent Altbier from Kurzer next door. If this is your kind of thing, then you might like it here. Later at night it seems the really sloppy wasted types take this place over, so it's not much fun if you're not drunk yourself. It's a Geschmackssache, as the Germans would say.
