Our visit to this German style restaurant in this hotel where we lived was very welcoming. The absolutely tasty Ukrainian bush brought memories of the soup that my Ukrainian grandmother made for our family. And the carving with a dark beer could not be better. We came to Gelnhausen to remember memories and see the army base where my husband was stationed from 1963 to 1965. He visited Gelnhausen's Aldstadt many times as well as this restaurant and was very happy to find the food still delicious with generous portions.

The outdoor terrace was a great place to take on the square of Gelnhausen, have a good meal and enjoy a few darks. I had the Stroganoff and was very happy. Others in my group really liked the carving. It was a short walk through the stone streets of Hotel Berghmul.

I and my boyfried spent a nice afternoon here and we found this great restaurant. The prices are great and food even better! I would never expect to eat something as good as that for so much. I would recommend it to anyone who is... in this area!

The restaurant is situated on the central square with good view. Ouside patio for smokers. Very nice owner, quick personnel. German and Russian kitchen. Try schnitzel with mushrooms and borsh best soup I tried ever

Excellent carving! Nice ambience. There was only one man who took orders and a cooking, but the service was good and the food.
