from the direction of the badener high coming I always make a box stop in the scherrhof to then hike well strengthened further to Baden-Baden.I was always served very friendly in the past. also the good bourgeois food was always well prepared and tasty tasted. even my extra sausages were kindly fulfilled. Even if I (as a single person sitting on a 4 table) only ordered drinks on the terrace at the best lunch time.The toilets were always in a proper condition even at peak times and at a forest restaurant and then even at a lot of operation.Top!I like to come back.
to make it short, the situation as well as eating are good. Unfortunately, it takes forever until the service lets you look, after half an hour we had our drinks, after an hour we have allowed to order our food!where space is empty, the service is simply overwhelmed. disappears for 15 with in the interior of the local to come back with two drinks. many ordered things will be forgotten, and in demand unfriendly reaction. bier stands half-picked in the sun etc....NIE again!!!

We stopped here after a walk through the Black Forest. It's a family run restaurant which has a great menu, friendly service, and great ambiance. It's so out of the way that the customers seem to be mostly hikers and bikers. Without question the food equaled or bettered that of many restaurants in Baden-Baden town. Well worth a visit.
I visited the scherrhof at the weekend. the garden area was occupied by 2/3. I had to wait 30 minutes until my order was received. after another 20 min. I asked. the service had forgotten my order. in part, the guests have gone to pay for the counter. the chefin has commented my complaining quite pampig. so you can't win
the beginning of the year has taken place in september. aise and thomas have made the evening for the couple and all guests an unforgettable memory. great eating, dear people who care about their guests and where you feel almost as friends. always.
we come every year with a large group to fonduessen on the scherrhof and are always thrilled. friendly and accommodating service. great meatfondue with homemade sauces and plenty of delicious supplements. we will come back with security!
