Don't stay here. The receptionist was unfriendly when we arrived. You need to carry your bags up steep stairs to a room that is very small with window that almost touches the neighbouring rolm so no view. Room so hot we didn't sleep well no fan ir AC. Shower has lots of mildew the first we have seen like this) and is so small uou wouldn't want to be a large person. No room to bend over to wash your feet. Only 1 chair even though room is for 2. Probably wouldn't fit it in. Breakfast is basic, compared to other places we have stayed at 3 star the worst.

17 cyclists going down the danube found this comfortable and well appointed hotel. Lovely garden terrace restaurant with excellent food and service. Proprietor Bernhard was very welcoming and helped us plan our next days itinerary down the Wachau valley to krems without his advice we would have been riding down the north bank instead of the South and missed the views. Highly reccommended.

We stayed in this quaint hotel during our Danube cycling tour and were literally blown away by the quality of the meal (and local wine). It was one of the bet meals we had on our 10 day cycling holiday. Highly recommend you try this place for the beer garden after the ride, accommodation and great restaurant.

I am not sure what it was called but it was the best dinner I had all trip. My friend also enjoyed her dinner. Staff were great. Enjoyed the wine, the schnapps and everything about dinner here. Nice atmosphere also.

Great food and beer,lovely place,willing staff...they help you with a taxi to burg Clam for a 10 euro, good peoples..
