Mixed feelings about this place! The athmosphere is generally welcoming and comfortable! The service was alright and friendly. The main issue was the food! The poorly cooked duck was disappointing; it tasted old, its texture was very tough, the flavors seemed underdeveloped. The skin lacked the desired crispness, was a bit burbed, the presentation was OK but not what you would expect for such a restaurant. Unfortunately, my overall expectations were far away from a satisfying dining experience. The entry was OK but not exquisite either. The only great thing was the choclate sorbet.

We have been staying here for many years. Not for a while now. Service in terms of friendliness and (royal) breakfast have decreased significantly. Loveless buffet with cold roast from the previous evening, pieces of cervelat and little cheese. There is also no information that there is a bar and party right in front of the room until 3 a.m. and later.

Was great. Food and ambience very good. Pleasant service, friendly young gentleman from the Basel area. Top. Friendly team, including boss. Nut salad for 18. was a bit measly.
