Wir (9 Personen) haben am Sonntagabend das wunderschön gelegene Restaurant am Thunersee besucht. Die für uns zuständige Kellnerin hat uns sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und kompetent bedient. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt an diesem Abend im Schloss. Der grosse Tisch war schön gedeckt, die Teller sehr ansprechend angerichtet und das Essen schmeckte hervorragend. Was aber schon bei der Vorspeise auffiel und sich beim Hauptgang erneut zeigte: Die Portionen waren unglaublich klein. Auf die Frage, ob es recht sei, antworteten wir: „Es ist sehr lecker aber leider viel zu wenig um satt zu werden“. Zu unserer Enttäuschung reagierte die Kellnerin, die beim Abräumen half, nur mit einem verlegenen Lächeln....
From the first bite, I knew this would be everything I hoped it would be. I knew, without a doubt, I was exactly where I was supposed to be. There are many times one goes to restaurants with a nice ambiance and a great view but mediocre food. Well, this is not one of those places. The food delights the tastes buds. Every course is better than that of the previous serving. It's like a beautiful symphony of flavor in the perfect key playing melodically on your palate. I come from HK and I had a wonderful dinner with my girlfriend in this restaurant on 2/11/2019. The cuisine was extremely good with perfect service. The waitresses were very nice and conscientious. Although the distance maybe little bit far away from Thun centre, and it is worthy to spend a night at this restaurant and have a dinner. For public transport, it can be reached by bus 21 from Thun Bahnhof and get off Oberhofen Dorf station and just take 15 to 20 minutes.
We stopped by chance in Oberhofen, not looking for anything in particular, and were absolutely pleased with the restaurant of the castle. The terrace right by the lake and within the historic site is amazing, service was efficient (and speaking French with us, thank you! , and food was very good. I would absolutely go back anytime, but I suppose that if you go on a sunny weekend or during holidays it is best to book your table in advance! Réservez une table maintenant
Vor ein paar Jahren sind wir nach einer Wanderung in diesem architektonisch interessanten Restaurant eingekehrt. Die Küche oder den Sevice möchte ich nicht beurteilen da die Rezension sicher nicht mehr der aktuellen Situation entspricht. Zu erwähnen ist jedoch die traumhafte, unvergleichliche Aussicht auf den Thunersee und die Berner Alpen. Atmosphere: 5
Eine sehr angenehme Überraschung in dieser speziellen Zeit sowohl auf eine wunderbar freundlich kompetente Crew zu treffen, und dann auch noch hervorragend zu speisen. Das ganze in einem wunderschönen Restaurant in alten Mauern mit modernem Ambiente. Mittagsmenue im Preis Leistung hervorragend!

Just next to the beautiful castle at the shore of the lake this nice restaurant offers tasty fine food at fair prices. Service was friendly and authentic. The view is amazing. Perfect place for a peaceful dinner with your loved ones on a warm summer evening Réservez une table maintenant
