We love this place. We go hiking when we visit our friends in Gauting and this is a great spot to stop and have some food and drink before returning. The old guy serving the beer had a great sense of humour pretending not to speak English, so we ended up trying to talk in Italian (I was told by my friend that he speaks perfect English). Beer is great, the food is rustic and suits the beer garden friendly atmosphere perfectly.
