On our way through Google Maps we found this place. It is located in a residential area in Heppenheim and makes an inconspicuous impression from outside. But as we had reserved a table, we went in and were kindly received. Apart from us, only locals were there, but we did not feel strange or disturbing at any time! We were on Sunday spontaneously for the first time in the jewellery shop and were received super friendly right after running in. Unfortunately, we had neither reserved in advance nor asked by phone whether a table would be free. In spite of this, we immediately got a place, because it would have been forgiven only in 2h. We love the old jewellery shop and are regularly twosome or with friends there if we like best traditional but also Mediterranean cuisine. The service is fantastic, always sweet and friendly and the food exquisite. There is nothing that is simply “normal”. Everything tastes particularly good. For example, one would not expect much from half a chicken, but this is also extremely good there, because juicy and spicy, so that it is even a pleasure without supplement. The daily dishes are often particularly recommended, but if it is simply a scavenger, you certainly never lie next to it. Reserves are recommended as there are not many places. We have not been disappointed by Google. Very friendly service that welcomed us and our dog. The food was very good and plentiful. The price was very favourable. Everything was clean, even the toilets were clean. Future room we like to return to when we are back in the area. Thanks for the good food and the friendly service! Parking is enough in the streets without having to run far.

Between Ober-Hambach and Einhausen we were looking for something to eat at the end of the Pentecost weekend and came to this restaurant. Price performance is right, it was all very tasty and rustic. The carvings were very good. The service was friendly and attentive. A good choice.

Beautiful restaurant with many local people and regular guests. We were the only tourists. We liked it very well. It is still lived, discussed and celebrated. The food was excellent and very inexpensive. Very friendly staff. Here we would come back anytime.
