No credit cards accepted - only cash. No English menus. Stopped here because of the high Trip Advisor reviews, and fortunately with friends from Munich who could translate in English for us. Everyone loved their food and the service was pretty good. If you are looking for an authentic Bavarian culinary experience and can read German, enjoy this place. If you cannot read German, order beer and something with Schnitzel on behalf. LOLEN

This restaurant belongs to the same family as the Gästehaus Stöger, and the standards are as high. The menu is traditional Bavarian, the food good, but not cheap, the staff friendly and helpful. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Great place to eat if you enjoy Bavarian food and you can speak German or are with someone who can and love traditional Bavarian. for this it was great. Had the pork dish with dumpling. Best dumpling I had been served.

Whilst the interior is on the plain side, the food is typically Bavarian at very resonable prices. The service is very friendly and attentive even when the place is packed (as it was at my visit).

Pretty modern inside with large tables. Food typical Bavarian (with a relatively small menu). Very good quality - often understated, leading to stressed waiters, mistakes and delays.
