on 18.4.2017, due to a recommendation of women silke of bremen (the ingenious guides on sylt makes ) we visited the chickhouse. the restaurant is one of the established facilities on the island.In the building everything is lovingly and well-kept and decorated (the eye is with ).the service leaves no wish open, attentive and listening to the guests are implemented.We had as an appetizer chicks in homemade crimped butter with delicious brot. after that we have glowed ourselves with morsumer bratkartoffeln and salat. the weinberatung we felt sensitive and accurate for our taste expectation. everything in all we can definitely recommend the snail house.Dr. marlie Pirkl-Nolte
we were with 5 adult and two 7-year-old kids in the chickhouse. Obviously you can only return there if you whisper or do not stay too loud (actually normal). the kids weren't the problem, but we were grown up... we were quite up and we know how to behave. but we also laugh and do not sit greedy at the table. Eat was good, but you also gave us to understand that you prefer the quiet people. this is a commentary of the so diplomatic and considerate Swiss.
it is a small house-like structure with a romantic interieur. the menu seems to be attractive and our friends have recommended it, but when we went, the service was slow and the food wasn't so great that the eating has an effect. you have to be happy that the cook is really in the mood. if he is, it's good, because the place is very nice. our pork was a bit tough, and the cauliflower was just a good one.
due to bad reviews almost not visited. we didn't hear about it. we had congratinated heir cheese and chicks. crisp, tasty flavored and exactly right from the edible amount. the bark steak with green pfeffer grains came as ordered once medium, once medium plus. perfect. a dense. heidelbeercrumble is a must! the service was warm and very attentive. we strongly recommend the snail house.

a really cozy, manageable restaurant, with attentive service and very tasty food. the prices are reasonable. especially cozy one sits in the nostalgic interiors, a clou is the winter garden, glazed and well aerated. a house with tradition and a good hostess.Always happy again.

first I got myself with hands and feet against snails., and then it was amazingly delicious - great wine card. and many real sylter at the bar ... a funny, talkative evening with the locals!
for many years and again the local for the nice evening to two. for individual service and best eating. the chicks are for my wife needs to be a few days on sylt.
