Ohne Frage ein mutiger Schritt in einer Kleinstadt. Aber mit einem altehrwürdigen Schloss in Sichtweite und den angrenzenden touristischen Highlights sollte das Projekt zumindest mittelfristig aufgehen. Sehr wichtig sind im ländlichen Raum eine gute Stammkundschaft und die zugehörige Mundpropaganda. Wir waren deshalb sehr gespannt auf unseren Abend mit Freunden im noch jungfräulichen Restaurant. Was auf alle Fälle stimmt, ist das Ambiente! Alles sehr passend und angenehm. Was leider nicht stimmte, war der Umstand, dass der Koch seine Fleischgerichte partout bleu bis max. medium kredenzen möchte. Dear team from the Palais a great praise to the kitchen for the creativity of food. Eye and palate become more pampered. Ms. Hetze's service is friendly not very helpful and convinces with expert knowledge whether it is about the variety of cocktails or also about a suitable wine tasting, the ambience is very beautiful, I look forward to the summer terrace period in the historic courtyard. A restaurant for high standards. This corresponds to the price level. But you get something. The kitchen is sensational. We had a 6-course menu that was fantastic. A point deduction for the service, because unquestioned a double digestif was served, although simple standing in the card. But this is really jammering at a very high level.
Eating was totally delicious, but it was a mini portion. I've already thought I've ordered a senior portion, but no. In addition, we have to wait 1.75h for eating, although it was not much now. And the prices are the bang, for most restaurants you get 2 such main courses and that with a much larger portion on the plate. Not recommended.
A very cozy and historically furnished restaurant and all stars worth it! The portions are not too small as can be read from some reviews. The quality of fresh dishes is excellent and seasonal.
