General For days already wonderful weather in the countryside. Half a week used to bring home and garden to the fore again after absence on holiday. And so my wife suggested that we go by bike to the Schönbusch to Aschaffenburg to relax and use the Gastronomy Schönbusch, as the Bistro Schönbusch officially means, for food and drink. Under the week, the journey on the main road as well as the last kilometers through the Schönbuschallee are a pleasure. On Sundays and holidays you should avoid the Schönbusch rather. This is really a nice place when good weather with a large outdoor, shade or sunny seating and stunning park surroundings. There is a section further down the path with self service Beer Garden which I did not try yet, the serviced restaurant area was disappointing though. The staff struggles to say hello, the menu is sort of overpriced considering the location and the food was rally poor. When I commented to the waiter that all food was excessively salty there was no reaction whatsoever, not that I wanted an apology as it was not his fault, but the usual thing to say would be that he is sorry and will report my comments to the chef. Anyhow not going back if not to the self service beer gard...
On a recent business trip to Aschaffenburg we went to this beautiful restaurant. The building is very tormenting and I think quite old. The location in the middle of a park is quite stunning. I was with many colleagues from all over Europe, and the company put on this evening event for us, as a chance for us all to mingle and enjoy each other companies. The service was very good, and the food was also very good, although we had a set menu. It was obvious from what we saw from other Diners that there is a very good and varied menu available. We had a great night and I'm sure you would.
It was a great choice and very much to our surprise, as the interior of this Restaurant was updated. The left hand area is a busy Cafe style place where the right hand area has more of a dining feel and is also quieter and suitable for functions. The service was quick and friendly and the food was spot on. There is ample parking and also an outside area great for those nice warm days. Schonbusch restaurant right outside Aschaffenburg has excellent quality food, either in the restaurant (if the weather is included) or in the garden on a sunny afternoon. Good service, good wine and a very cozy atmosphere. After a good lunch you can walk through the adjacent park with its (instead of small) castle. You can also bring the family for a Sunday afternoon in the beer garden near the restaurant.
Friendly and attentive service, superb choice of typical German cuisine in a stylish restaurant in a beautiful location-what more could you ask for? Spring, Summer and Fall there are many outdoor tables from the main restaurant itself as well the adjacent rustic typical beer-garden restaurant. Excellent selection of fine wine and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages for the entire family.
came to lunch; the café was crowded so that they sat in the dining area. Service was prompt and spoke better English than I was German. Had her grilled steak with rosemary and grilled vegetables. Had a yeast wheat to drink. Quality was excellent. In summer, the outdoor seat is wonderful. Always happy to eat here when I'm in the area.
A nice afternoon here for lunch this week with friends. A wonderful sunny day at the Park Schonbusch is the perfect place to relax. We sat fast. Service was fantastic and the food was very good. I had a carving I enjoyed rally. On busy days or holidays it is best to get there early as it can be fairly crowded. Réservez une table maintenant
