Schoolhouse -b-que

Schoolhouse's pepper vinegar-sauced pulled pork was awesome! I added extra sauce to it and hid the cracklins underneath to sop up some of that great sauce). They also have a great slaw to go along with it. The rest of the buffet is great but I'm here for the BBQ. They are cash only, $13 per adult) so come prepared, but if not there is an ATM onsite. The greatest strength at Schoolhouse and don't forget the BBQ is awesome) is their wonderful staff. Hats off to each of them, especially to Lynn Duke who made us feel like we were eating with family. My husband went to this place last week and liked it so much we decided to go back so I could enjoy it too. Awesome history, atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. Great selection of comfort food. Lots of new and different local cuisine. Really something for everyone. Debra is an awesome, personable server.

Great spot for BBQ buffet...old schoolhouse turned restaurant...the place is busy enough so that the food doesn't sit long. Pulled pork is southern vinegar based, smoked sausage and chicken tasty, as were the collards and tomato/okra dish. Cash only, lunch $13, well worth a visit.

This place is good been here numerous times . Only one flaw they have and its the same flaw that Woodstone in Florence SC have. The flaw is they close at 2pm on a Sunday guess they only trying to catch a certain crowd if you know what I mean Réservez une table maintenant

If you don't like this place, there's something wrong with you. When we lived in Florence, we'd go at least 1-2 times a month. My son I are going to visit this summer and you can be sure we'll be stopping by.

Our Corvair Car Club has decided to make this are regular meet and eat. They have a separate room for events and great food. Very casual and convenient with folks coming from different locations an hour away.

We ate at Schoolhouse twice last week while in SC, and it was excellent both times! Their barbecue pork and chicken is the best. The restaurant can be noisy when it is busy, but the food is worth it.

Kids from church were waiters. They did a fantastic job. I hope they raised a lot of money for their cause. Réservez une table maintenant
