I also tried the liver hash, which was quite distinctive. I’m more familiar with the hash from the Lowcountry, so this was a different experience, but I really liked it. Naturally, all the classic South Carolina BBQ sides were available.
The venue itself is a charming little spot with ample seating and great decor. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home even on my first visit.
If you’re a BBQ lover or just someone looking for a great meal, I highly recommend checking this place out! Plus, at $13 for an all-you-can-eat buffet, it’s an excellent deal! And don’t worry about parking; there’s a huge parking lot available!
Great spot for BBQ buffet...old schoolhouse turned restaurant...the place is busy enough so that the food doesn't sit long. Pulled pork is southern vinegar based, smoked sausage and chicken tasty, as were the collards and tomato/okra dish. Cash only, lunch $13, well worth a visit.
We ate at Schoolhouse twice last week while in SC, and it was excellent both times! Their barbecue pork and chicken is the best. The restaurant can be noisy when it is busy, but the food is worth it. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp if you go in the side door.
This place is good been here numerous times . Only one flaw they have and its the same flaw that Woodstone in Florence SC have. The flaw is they close at 2pm on a Sunday ? ? guess they only trying to catch a certain crowd if you know what I mean ? ?

Fantastic BBQ buffet in Scranton! Although we don't live nearby, we make it a point to stop by whenever we're passing through during their open hours.
This place was great. We had our Father's Day meal there. Food was great service was great. Highly recommend!!
Kids from church were waiters. They did a fantastic job. I hope they raised a lot of money for their cause.
