Schreinerei Pfeiffer

This is hardy food set in a great surrounding. There's a wonderful beer garden outside; inside it's a former carpentry workshop. It has a wonderful, earthy feel and the food is outstanding. We've eaten here twice now and the quality of the meals is consistent. Prices are in the usual range for this style German food. They have specialty menus. It is Spargel season so with butter or Hollandaise sauce, it's a treat and can be had with or without meat. Next week is Fish week; tonight it's spare ribs. You'll enjoy this place! We were here on business.

I wanted to give this restaurant five stars, because the Schreiner Cheese Burger and Fries that I had were really delicious. But I went with four other people. Three of them were not excited about their meals. The beef steak was ordered medium and came quite rare, as well as not very tender. The pork schnitzel was under seasoned, as well as not very tender. But the burgers were really very good. I just cant bring myself to give it only three stars because a good burger can be hard to find.

I stay in Bad Homburg every year during a trade show visit and it is our tradition to eat here on the first night. The menu is good traditional German style food and the restaurant is a converted carpenters, complete with numerous tools of the trade still decorating the place. If you're feeling adventurous try the strawberry and cream shot - naughty but nice.

Great place, fantastic atmosphere, i really dig the old woodshop. Really friendly service. Great beers, i really like the local Bad Homburg Graf Zeppelin sligthly cloudy/unfiltered helles. Food does the trick. Seemed like a local hangout; on a Monday night place was pretty crowded, 95% males, all a bit seasoned. I'll be back Réservez une table maintenant

I had dinner a couple of time with my colleagues, I like a lot the inner rooms, with all the working tools on the walls. Food is tasty, I love their "Pfeiffers Fleischpfanne" and, of course, a weizen beer. Price is generally not that high.

We were in a big group and sat outside, the service was still good and the atmosphere great. It's located centrally and in walking distance of many hotels. A lot of us had the steak which was very tasty.I will be coming back when in town

A former workshop turned into a restaurant. Welcoming staff. Good traditional German food. I tried the Hessenburger - a good cheeseburger with local Handkäse.

Lovely hidden inside and outside restaurant. Full of German character. Steaks are the best I have ever tasted and the prices are very reasonable. Réservez une table maintenant

If you like hessisches Food than this is the restaurant to go. The food is good and the price is right. Especially the Appelwein is perfect.

Nice food, fair service. Fair price. A bit old furniture which not always gives good impression. Quite crowded, mainly locals.
