In the past, there were two different menus, so you had a choice even during a longer stay. In total, that was the pure classic we hoped for. The dishes are timeless, perhaps not as reduced as it is currently en vogue. It is essential to get involved and that is exactly what the Black Eagle can do, more should it not be for us. For us the wine was also at the centre of this evening. A long journey is not absolutely worthwhile for the food alone. However, the combination of the great wines, the pleasant but cheerful atmosphere and the classics of the kitchen gives an overall concept for which we will surely regain a few hours of journey.

The restaurant was completely filled on a simple Friday evening without a holiday. Including a closed company in the bar! Nevertheless, the dishes came to the table with a tasteful precision and without annoying breaks. And if so. Das erste Mal in einem „besternten“ Restaurant in Deutschland, in dem alles gepasst hat. Küche über jeden Zweifel erhaben, Ambiente urig, Service entspannt und souverän; und: Man hat das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein und Gastfreundschaft zu erleben. Das Essen, der Service, die Zimmer sind fabelhaft. Das Ambiente ist nicht modern, eher konservativ rustikal, was aber nicht negativ ist sondern sehr zum positiven Gesamteindruck beiträgt. Die Preise sind gerecht fertig und alles ist seinen Preis wert! Die Weine des Hauses sind grandios! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
