We were here to celebrate a friend's special birthday. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming (they even put a welcome heart on your door when you arrive). The staff speak fluent French and English as well as German. The hotel decor is typically...German. The feel is warm and welcoming. The rooms are large and very comfortable (although some of our party found the beds a bit hard). The bathroom is soacious, with a roll top bath and a shower. We were fortunate to dine at this restaurant during our stay, once for dinner and twice for afternoon cake. It was wonderful to see people dress for dinner! The food was very good, and served on hot plates. We both had fish, and it was...well prepared. At frustuck there is a lovely assortment, but my favorite was the afternoon cake. The cake cart had the most beautiful assortment. It was truly a nice way to take a break in the afternoon.

Been there a few times now. If you want to escape the too traditional german fare, this is a good choice. Local with a plus. Great deserts. Extensive wine list. Service excellent or underaverage depending on you your waiter is.
Unfortunately. this hotel is a pale shadow of another family-run hotel located in baiersbronn. the well rated bareiss. the rooms here are too expensive for what is offered and so is the restaurant.
We went here for breakfast! The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was great and classy with great selections of bread, cold cuts, fruit etc. The decor was nice.
the level of eating is wonderful the confirmation of relais and chateau qualification. the choice of wein is wonderful, as well as the personal under the guidance of woman fisher.

Very comfortable place to have Kaffee und Kuchen . You can see the desserts ahead if time if you would like. About 10 Euros for cappuccino and a dessert.
