after a ride with the stand ropeway and a round hike in the area of the sunnenberg we met other friends in this local. we took the apéro out in the garden and enjoyed the beautiful view. after that we sat at the reserved table in the interior and ordered the day menu; hackbraten with kartoffelstock and vegetables. all were satisfied with the amount and quality of the food. after that, we ordered a dessert. there was first line of ice with various ingredients. all at the table enjoyed at dessert and were satisfied. a real rustic local with a similar eating. the service was nice and correct. the toilets were clean.
here there is a good Swiss cuisine cooked by a learned cook. no fishing personnel. servic staff is always friendly. small problem when nice weather smaller waiting times. (exit restaurant) the terrace overlooking the city luzern and the mountain is unique and still under the chestnut trees. we always come here with a larger group to eat the good grill specialities.
A quaint little German language Swiss restaurant at the top of the Sonnenberg. It's five minutes from the Hotel Sonnenberg and was open for dinner when the hotel was closed. The cooking was homely and satisfying and the prices were reasonable. We went twice in...five nights. I would recommend ... If you can speak German!
my friend died and we went to the wonderful sonnenberg. in this restaurant. as mentioned above, there are in the staff who feel the guests as hostile. After we asked to pay for 3 x within 30 minutes, the service with a flowering master guest made fun of us. sad. shocking. incomprehensible. never again.

We ordered two beers and a cocktail here. The staff were super grumpy and surly, we didn't get the right order, and the cocktail was warm with no ice. If the staff were less aggressive we would have said something, but we felt so unwelcome...we just drank up and left. Views are nice though
beautiful place to return to uncomplicated. good bourgeois food at reasonable price. sometimes it takes a little geduld, because the terrace must also be served. A pity that the service employee is stressed and the ton is likely to be more friendly.
something for the original taste. a little remote, in a quiet opposite, all around nature, simply thriving. service very friendly, prices in the middle segment, eating delicious, Swiss cuisine, large portions, only recommended.
simple, cozy restaurant on the sunnenberg/ good-bourgeois and very fine dining / terrace with chestnut trees and a view of the four forest lake / a popular place where you can go and enjoy the rest of nature.

I like the unavoidable ambiente as well as the petty-bourgeois eating in the chyzerhüsli very much and often go to eat there. of service I can only report good. we are served very friendly and accommodating.
