The meal overall was good...the bruschetta was tasty but only came with 4 pieces of toast, so my criticism would be a few more pieces of toast would help. They do give you a bread basket, so we used our Italian bread for the rest. We both got pasta dishes which were good, our server was very friendly, and our kids liked their quesadillas and macaroni cheese (not Kraft, it seemed to have a house cheese blend on it with some pepper, so I'd ask for it without the pepper). We also got dessert, a cannoli and the oreo pie, of which the cannoli was better; the kid's meals came with a scoop of ice cream. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came that the kid's meals were removed as on Sunday's...

We used to frequent Scoogies on a regular basis but moved out of the area. Now we 're back and thought hey, let 's try it again. Made a reservation for Valentine 's day and arrived to see an empty restaurant. Had to wait about 5min to be seated. There were only 6 people in the dining room (including my wife and me). We were feeling a bit uncomfortable about that so we decided to leave. I think what turned us off is we have been living in the area for 18 years and moved away for 2 years. Came back and the inside of this neighborhood institution has not changed one bit. Very dark, tables and chairs are old, and everything just looks outdated. I think the neighbors frequent this restaurant beca...

First time dining here. The restaurant is older and has a nice ambiance. There are three separate areas for dining. We sat in the back room which looked newer and probably added on. As far as the food, we had the Italian Wedding soup which was very bland and the Caesar salad which would have been good but it was filled with the hard hearts of lettuce. Our dinners were very good, I had the Ravioli and Meatballs and my husband had Shrimp and Scallops over linguini. The portions were nice size. Overall, it is a decent restaurant, but nothing special.

We frequently visited Scoogi's last year, but our dinner on Friday was quite disappointing. The bread was cold (I assumed it was warmed from previous orders), and the crab bisque wasn't as delicious as I remembered. I ordered the shrimp and scallops over linguini, but the marinara sauce was too brownish and excessively watery. The shrimp and scallops felt quite overcooked. My experience this time was lacking. I hope this was just an off day and not a sign of things to come. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Réservez une table maintenant

Last week, we visited Scoogi to enjoy the St. Mad band, and they did not disappoint! The music was fantastic, but the dining experience was just as satisfying. There are plenty of options to cater to every taste, and the food is well-prepared. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring no one leaves feeling hungry. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, making it a popular spot in the neighborhood.

There was a bit of a wait, in spite of our reservations. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. However, once we were seated our waitress was nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Appetizers came right on time and our meal folded in an appropriate time after, the meals were hot and delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!

There were plenty of fantastic options for lunch. We were a group of four, and we all struggled to choose because everything looked so appealing. In the end, each of us ordered something different, and we thoroughly enjoyed our selections. I highly recommend Scoogis!
