I visited her a couple of years ago when in Blackpool after having it recommended and it didn't disappoint. We were back in Blackpool this week and decided to have a treat so came again. Firstly it was advertised open till 10, we arrived about 730 and within 10 mins the closed sign was put on the door. Must have turned about 6 family's away while we were there The place looked dirty, the floor was a mess the menus were few and far between and the ones avaliable were all falling to pieces. We placed our order and the food took about 10 mins to arrive, we had a ice cream which was nice, a cheesecake which my sister said was alright, I had a millionaire waffle, it was OK, I couldn't work out if...
One of the characteristics of Blackpool that people refer to, is there famous ice cream. During our stay in Blackpool, we had to sample this famous Ice Cream. Scoop Ice cream did this reputation justice, the little venue offers ample seating as well as a vast array of ice cream flavours. The nice coffee was an unexpected bonus and surpassingly accompanied the ice cream well. The one staff member was very friendly and happy to provide a couple of samples to support a decision on what flavours to choose in a two scoop tub. Whilst the scoops were generous, this venue is still expensive. However, despite the high expense, this venue is more than worth it.
The staff at this restaurant were delightful and went out of their way to accommodate our gluten intolerant child when he wanted ice cream. It made him so happy to have a variety of flavors to choose from. Additionally, the prices were reasonable and we got 3 ice creams for the price of 2, which is a great deal compared to other places in Southport.
Have visited scoop ice cream parlour several times.Huge choice of ice cream to choose from.i had 2 scoops of banoffee and biscoff.Another time I had millionalres shortcake and fruit salad flavours. Huge portions.Great value for money Highly recommend.Servjce was good. Definitely be returning

The ice cream was delicious, but I was turned off when I saw a male employee (with ginger hair) cleaning with a rag and then immediately serving customers and handling ice cream cones without wearing gloves or washing his hands.
Every time I come to Blackpool with my family we always stop at Scoop for ice cream. It’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had! So many different flavours to choose from! Highly recommended to any ice cream lover.
The restaurant was immaculately clean, the staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent advice for customers with dietary restrictions. They were very welcoming and friendly!
Only place in Blackpool you can get a Flavour Blend Mr Whippy. Mix any of the 2 flavours, and the one in the photo was a small (for £2 you can't go wrong)
