No matter what the other chip shops in Redcar say. THIS IS THE BEST CHIPPY IN REDCAR. plenty of happy staff so there is not usually a long wait. Large portions too so you will feel satisfied, they also still wrap in paper and not the boxes. I find the others do so they can reduce portions. Bonus points for Scrumptious now as they are trying to make changes to help the environment : well done :

Best chippy in redcar by far the only niggle i have is the batter could be thinner and crispier maybe not cooked long enough but on the plus side fish is always lovely and white and generous portions.

If your in Redcar and hungry, this is the place to go, fantastic range of tasty sarnies and fish and chips, can recommend the fishcakes. Never had a bad thing from here, 10 outta 10 from me.

The cod is always beautifully cooked and slightly crispy, and the chips are delicious. I buy from this restaurant regularly.
