Scrumptious Tea Room

As a person with a disability, my husband inquired about accessibility at this restaurant and was given the impression that they did not want customers who were not "normal" as it would be detrimental to their image. He also asked if they wanted to participate in the Wheelchair Scheme in Urmston, but they refused to commit. It is disheartening that in today's society individuals with mobility issues are still treated as second-class citizens.

This was my first visit to ABS and it certainly won't be my last. We had to sit outside due to Covid restrictions, but we were placed in a delightful booth. The staff were attentive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea, even though we can be picky eaters.

Our folks were delighted with this! It was very fresh and tasty with a good selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes! They were also most helpful and accommodating. They do a delivery Service which is ideal for those who are unable to go out at the moment.

This is a wonderful cafe, with a lovely menu choice and home-made cakes. I can't recommend it highly enough! Lovely friendly staff as well. Wishing them every success with their new venture into Thursday evening meals. Réservez une table maintenant

I popped into have a bacon sandwich and coffee while waiting for my car to be serviced. I have never been in as I thought it was more of a afternoon tea place. On arriving I was shown to a table and handed a menu....

Ordered this for my friend for her birthday. She absolutely loved it . Said everything was really fresh and lovely. Also, a very pleasant man delivered it! What more could you want.

Visited again for afternoon tea for my friend. Once again it was lovely m. We had a booth outside and the heater was a must in this weather, they even left us a basket of blankets

Lovely little place, great for sandwiches and cakes to take away and they do a fab breakfast, staff are really friendly and follow covid rules perfectly
