Sea Blue Fish Grill

Had the super pack with a side of hamburger in batter (feeling a little adventurous).<br/ <br/ The hamburger in batter wasn't what I expected as it was just a battered burger patty, make that a huge one. As much as I was hoping to have an actual burger battered and deep fried, as it has been done before, the battered patty wasn't too bad, just a bit greasier than the other fried items.<br/ <br/ The super pack came with fish, chips, potato cake, and dim sim. They were all solid and cooked well. Not too greasy and the fish held it's batter well without falling apart. The seafood were all displayed at the counter and looked really fresh so that's a big plus.

Wow this place is busy!!!! We ordered seafood basket. $35That has a bit of everything. Husband actually said it was quite nice. Different from the previous management which the flake is tasteless. Staff is very friendly. It takes a while to get the take away ready. The prawns and calamari were very well fried. It was chewy, not rubbery and prawns were cooked just right. The portion is quite generous enough for a family of 4 with young children.

Fish n chips here are light crispy. Big statement but I have to say this is the best neighbourhood fish n chip shop, ive had a few from many different suburbs!! They use real calamari rings not the processed stuff. Fish wasn't dry, potato cakes not soggy!!

My local fish and chips- good to see after so many years it’s still retained its quality . This may be bias as it brings back a lot of nostalgia but putting aside everything the batter is not heavy and I did not find the chips too oily!

Under new management and it is great. Feels like good old fashioned fish and chips. We had burgers with the lot, grilled barramundi, calamari and chips. Serving size and quality was great for the price.
