Appeared to me more evening oriented with ads for live music and specialty drinks. Our server Angela quickly brought water for my wife and iced tea for me while we glanced at the menu. My wife asked for the Queso Fundida and I had to try the Chicken Chicarrones. The Fundida was disappointing, a mishmash of ingredients that weren't that great blended. RESTAURANT WEEK REVIEW EDITION. Tampa is doing a special week where restaurants make a prix fixe menu to try out. I decided to check it out because it was priced at $21.99. I got a shrimp ceviche to start.... and it was acceptable. I haven't had too many ceviche but usually I wouldn't think of it dry which is what this felt like. It was still good. Then was the pork chop which was delicious when layered with the tamarind sauce. The purple mash potatoes was pretty. The street corn felt a little dry but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to evoke roasting. Service was sort of slow as the bar had just changed shifts. I had to leave because I had another engagement so I took the guava cheesecake...
A strange name for a Tex Mex place but this is Florida. What a great vibe with open space good for large parties or side booths for a couple. Outside patio is incredible with lounge chairs and Astro turf to play corn hole. Of course the food was excellent as I do not give many 5-star ratings. The beef burrito was large and filled with well seasoned shredded beef. My wife had a salad with chicken which she enjoyed as much as anyone can eating a salad (blah). Chips and salsa were good and tortillas are made fresh on premises. Give this place a try.
Really enjoyable meal. Service was good the food was great! Loved the atmosphere, too. For an appetizer, we chose their chips trio that came with housemade guacamole, queso, smoked salsa. All were delicious. For entrees we had shrimp fajitas, a chicken burrito, carnitas tacos, a beef burrito. We all enjoyed our meals very much. Of note though, is the fact that most things are al a cart, so if you want their awesome rice beans you'll have to order a side. No room for dessert because the portions of the meals are generous.

This was my second time coming to SeaDogs and we weren't super hungry. We decided to share the Nacho appetizer and it was honestly just so delicious. The first time we came here I had a burrito and my boyfriend had the Enchiladas and we would both rate our meals 5 stars. Will definitely be back for these nachos because the ingrediants we're fresh, evenly distributed and it was an awesome portion.
If you like Mexican food this is not the place. We got a burrito no sides and an enchilada. Enchilada was so much tortilla could hardly taste the meat and cheese melted on top was cold. The salad was horrible mostly sticks and no leaf lettuce at all. Will not be back.
Our server's name was Leah, I think. She was extremely friendly and helpful!! I ordered the chicken Baja Burrito which was amazing. The restaurant's decor and overall atmosphere was so charming. Will definitely be back :
