My husband and I visited this restaurant when we had to kill time while my teen son was hanging at the beach with his girlfriend. We're not from Long Beach, so when Seabirds popped up in my search for nearby vegan food, we gave it a shot. The food is amazing! My husband has dietry issues and can't have nuts or seeds, so we especially appreciate that many items on the menu can be made nut-free. I had the Purple Taquitos. These are quite possibly the best taquitos I've ever eaten. The chipotle crema was so creamy and had a wonderful taste; I had to stop myself from licking the plate. Seabirds is a gorgeous vegan restaurant. The staff and food are always incredible and the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and calming. I would strongly recommend checking this place out if you’ve never been, are visiting the area, or just looking for something new. I bring lots of non-vegan friends here and they love it. I have yet to try something off of the menu I don’t like and they have lots of shareable food for the table. A great place for meeting up with friends or a special occasion. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with a clean bathroom. Parking can be a bit tricky, but you’ll be fine if you don’t mind a short walk.

I had dinner here with a friend from South Carolina who is not a vegan, and she loved it as much as I did! I had the kale salad and added tofu it was perfect for a later than planned dinner. Then, as if I didn't have enough avocado, I ordered the chocolate mousse (made with avocado, too! I was so enamored with my dessert now to learn how to make it myself!The ambiance in the space was warm and inviting and we had a great experience here! The only challenging part of the meal was parking, as there is major construction on the main street!
Delicious! All dishes I tasted stand up to the delightfulness that vegan food can be. I don't always eat vegan but this is a restaurant that comes to mind that I recommend to anyone looking for original delicious tasting food. It's not too pricey and not cheap but at par with the quality of the ingredients. I always find Street parking nearby but it takes a little luck.
Hands down the BEST grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. It makes you wonder how on earth can they make this taste like the real thing. Lol. The beer battered avocado taco was also delish. Lastly, their chocolate chip cookie blew my mind as well, so I had to order a second one for the road. Lol. I can't wait to go back to try everything else on their menu.
What a gem of a place. Portions were generous, food was delicious and great menu options. Jackfruit nachos-yum! Purple taquitos- would definitely get again Tomato soup- loved the way it was made with coconut milk, mmm Service was good and street parking was available.

Service was a little slow with one server but totally understandable. Food was good and this is coming from a person who eats meat. Surprised to see how far vegan dishes have come. Will be back.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delicious. The passion fruit daiquiri is a must and so is the peach crumble dessert. Friendly staff and relaxing aesthetic. I can't wait to go back!
