During our visit to Bath, we decided to have dinner at this fantastic restaurant. Although it may appear to be a small fish and chip shop, the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and handed menus upon arrival. We opted to sit at the outdoor tables, as there is limited seating inside. Our meals arrived promptly and were delicious. My husband, who is from Sheffield, UK, mentioned that it was the best fish and chips he had tasted in over 20 years. I personally enjoyed the sausage and chips, which were also very satisfying. I have never been to the UK and wanted to try authentic fish and chips. My husband saw this establishment and decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a smile. Our order was immediately taken. While we were waiting, the owner/chef was easy to talk to. We talked about sports and who is our favorite team. Out lunch came rather quickly and it was very good. The fish was moist on the inside and the batter was light and crispy. The fries had such a good flavor did not need to put ketchup. If you find yourself in Bath, UK treat yourself and come to this place for some good ole fish and chips.
Literally just ordered from them within the last hour, got them home and ALL of the chips are completely raw on the inside. We're having to cook them in the oven which completely defeats the point. Wasted £6 plus waited for about 25 minutes for them after ordering. Seriously terrible, as a Bath local I would say do not eat here!! Will never recommend.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The fish was fresh and the chips were cooked perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and can't wait to come back again. I don't understand people who don't speak up in person if they have a problem with their food or service, instead of just complaining online. It's important to support our local businesses.

Absolutely outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection and made to order. The batter was crispy and flavorful, the fish was tender and delicious, and the chips were fantastic as well. Definitely worth the higher prices.
A pleasant welcome and good choice of fish dishes. Food was delicious and welcome after a long day travelling. Sadly tables took a while to be cleared which resulted in a seagull jumping in for the leftovers!
Lovely fish and chips at an extremely reasonable price. The service was friendly and attentive. A great british tradition at it's best !...why pay more when in Bath... well done !!
Did a job for lunch to take back to my hotel but nothing more or less than average fish and chips to be honest. Had better had worse so average it has to be.

I bought chips,they tasted so awful had to throw them away. The fat tasted foul and one chip was raw in middle. I'm never going back again.
Such a fabulous fish and chips! Absolutely lovley food quality, amazing service and was the best fish and chips I’ve eaten.
