We made our first family vacation/long weekend getaway to Freeport/Surfside Beach. This place was recommended by a family friend and boy did it not disappoint! We had our family dog with us so learning that the patio/beach overlook allowed dogs already started things off right. This is my favorite restaurant at Surfside Beach. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting on the deck and enjoying a cold beer. It's incredible to sip your drink while taking in the ocean air. The menu offers a wide variety, from simple snacks like nachos to full meals such as sandwiches, salads, and grilled or roasted seafood. My favorite dish is the grilled Texas redfish, which is seasoned with a unique spicy blend, and you can choose two sides. The only waiting we did was for them to set up a table for 8, which was quick. There's really no bad seating outside and the menu is full of many different dishes. My blackened shrimp were large, plump and delicious, actually everything on my platter was, my husband was impressed with the chicken fried chicken platter. Love how huge this place is, May was curtious and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Stopped in for lunch. Fast, friendly, and good service. Great view of the surf from our outdoor table, completely in the shade. The 1 lb burger was fantastic and the fresh, grilled Texas redfish entree was equally good with homemade mac and cheese and well seasoned green beans. Beer was nice a cold. Highly recommend!

- was amazing! everything is fresh, never frozen, not greasy. tastes like real food. I stole my parents from the state. BEAUTIFUL Views, big anwesen with a lot of space. inside is clean and clean. menu is great. the personal was super friendly. Lifelong customers here will be them too.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. My wife and I stumbled upon it, and it's truly a hidden gem. The drinks were fantastic, the food delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere was wonderful. A special shoutout to our server tonight—she was fantastic!
I enjoyed the redfish accompanied by four extra fried shrimp, and I shared the meal with my wife. It was plenty of food for two and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was ideal for an oceanfront setting. I highly recommend this place!
We consistently have a great experience at this restaurant. The staff is friendly, it’s located right by the beach, and the seafood is always fresh and delicious.

Great place and location but the prices are crazy for what you get, 2 drinks and 1 burger and fries and a piece of salmon and green beans we paid $83.
Delicious food. Friendly service depending on who your server is. 90% very friendly. Only 1 or 2 seemed disinterested. We will definitely be back.
