The Seaview Hotel is a grande dame updated nicely, sits alongside two golf courses in a country setting. The building is impressive. Inside is clean, well decorated and the room was completely updated, sparkling clean and comfortable. Seasonal outdoor pool was terrific. The location is PERFECT if you don't want to stay in AC 20 minute easy drive to the boardwalk. Also 20 minutes to beautiful Brigantine beach (the front desk had beach passes to offer guests! . This review is strictly for breakfast in the main dining roomWe had my daughters wedding the night before and had some of the guests join for breakfast the following morning.Service was terrible. Some at the table were waiting for food almost 1/2 hr after some others were served. Coffee was not fresh and cold. My breakfast, called the New Yorker, was sent back after 1 bite. The lox was old and spoiled. It smelled and tasted awful! No apology just “ what else would you like? The second dish, french toast was not cooked in the middle. I attended a conference at this venue, and I must say it’s a stunning place. They offer valet service for $10, which I highly recommend, as the parking lot is quite a distance away. The reception area is elegant, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The conference rooms are comfortable and equipped with excellent audio-visual technology. This venue is more upscale compared to typical hotels, and it even has a golf course nearby. As for safety, the hotel is situated in a very secure area, yet it’s only a short drive to Atlantic City. Always enjoyed my stays but reservations is sketchy. Cancelled mine for last week but today found out they charged me as a no show . A nice lady named Beth is crediting me the money back. Then, they couldn 't find a reservation for next week in the system that I needed to cancel. I was going to show up w my kids next week without a room being available apparently. Scary. The hotel itself is nice, clean, great pools. Food is average but nice dining room. Rooms are small but clean, small bathrooms- older building.
As for the rooms, they are clean, comfortable, and very quiet, with the beds being especially cozy. The lobby bar provides a relaxed atmosphere where you can order food and drinks. The cocktails were excellent, and the bartenders were fantastic. However, I suggest ordering from the menu for breakfast instead of relying on the Sunday breakfast buffet, which could use improvement.
Just finished our stay here. Great location off the beating path from AC. About a 20 minute drive if you wanted to hit the casinos. Staff was super nice and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. They have a outdoor pool and in door pool. On site. Along with a few other things like bar, golf course, tennis, volleyball and a rec room that has billards.
