We almost left the restaurant at first. My husband took me out on a date for our very first time at STH, and it was a Saturday night. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait, but it ended up being just 15 minutes. After being seated, we noticed the waitstaff cleaning crumbs from tables onto the floor and chairs. We waited... and waited... and waited. Nearly 20 minutes passed with no service. My husband and I exchanged puzzled glances, wondering what was going on. He eventually spoke to Noah, the front of house manager. Meanwhile, waitresses were attending to tables next to us and behind us, but no one even acknowledged us. We visited Sedona Taphouse Midlothian at 12:30, and although the restaurant was busy and lively, the service stood out as excellent. The crab-stuffed mushrooms from the menu were fantastic. The filet mignon truly deserved a five-star rating for its quality, but overall, I would rate the food four stars because the vegetables were quite dry even though we asked for extra butter. Additionally, my husband's steak had more gristle than expected and was cooked rarer than requested. They were out of the Chardonnay I wanted but offered a good alternative. On a positive note, the herb butter was absolutely delicious.
We had a wonderful Friday lunch at Sedona Taphouse Midlothian. The place was comfortably quiet, and we were promptly seated. Our server was attentive and quick to assist. The drinks were fantastic—I enjoyed a Paloma while my sister chose the Prickly Pear Margarita. We both savored the crab-stuffed shrimp, which was delightful. We’re looking forward to coming back to try more of the enticing menu options. They also offer an impressive variety of wines, cocktails, and beers.
We had a fantastic time with a diverse menu to select from. They have a happy hour until 6:30 PM, which is a great perk. Our server was friendly and enthusiastic about making recommendations. Despite it being a busy Friday night, our food came out hot and fresh. While the cheeseburger was a bit undercooked for medium, it was still exceptionally delicious. Excellent service and delicious food! We dined on a Friday night and only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. I tried the Cactus Lemonade, which was bursting with pineapple flavor—so refreshing! The flat iron steak was seasoned perfectly and offered great value. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the salmon with lemon butter, and it was fantastic!
