Pro: Der Service an der Eistheke war sehr nett. Das Eis hat meinen Kunden(Touristen geschmeckt. Auf meine Frage wurde uns erlaubt ein Platz im Schatten zu nehmen. (ca 27 Grad waren es . Contra: Leider hat uns erst nach dem alle ihr Eis hatten, der große Kellner mit Glatze und Brille gesagt dass die Bedienungen an der Eistheke keine Ahnung hätten und das jenes Eis nur zum Take-Away wäre. Wir sollten dann gehen! Ich habe nach einer Ausnahme gefragt, da ich das gleiche Eis ja auch von der Karte hätte bestellen können. (Es waren fast ALLE Tische frei! Nach kurzer Denkpause wiederholte er nun noch unfreundlicher das vorher gesagte. Ich kann daher den Laden nicht empfehlen- kann aber dem Managemen...
We had just undertaken a long drive and arrived in Lindau, checked into our nearby hotel and popped down on to the street to get a well deserved beer. As this was literally the first place we came across and that the sun was still...shining (but dropping fast), we decided to sit down here and have a drink. Service was so slow that in the end we had to go to the bar ourselves...soon after that, the drinks were brought to our table where we watched the sun disappear behind the buildings. This is an old authochthonous cafe in Lindau. It has just outdoor seating and is right at the harbor, so you will have a marvelous view. On cooler days, they will put up heaters to make you more comfortable. Although it is in a prime...location, it is not ridiculously expensive like the other cafes and restaurants around. The service was fast in the beginning, however the waitress seemed to have forgotten us, so we had to go up to her in order to settle our bill. We just had cake and coffee. It was a nice and tasty piece of cake, which I shared with the sparrows. There were so many sparrows coming up, asking for a piece of it. They were so tame, they would even eat out of my hand.
I've arrived shortly after opening for lunch in post-season. The environment of the cafe is spectacular, directly next to the port between some green spots full of flowers. The waitress had know-how about the wines and dishes on the menu, which made a good impression....Due to the low number of guests, service was fast. The whitefish was very good, a large portion for the price.

Wunderschön gelegenes Cafe direkt am Bodenseeufer mit tollem Blick auf das Hafenbecken und das Treiben der Besucher. Der Cappuccino schmeckt lecker, ob er 4, € bei der doch recht geringen Füllmenge wert ist, mag jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts. Die Mitarbeiterin war schnell und freundlich.
Meiner Meinung nach, ist das einer der besten Eisdielen in Lindau. Sehr gute Auswahl an Eissorten und vom Preis her passt es auch. Der Besitzer ist immer sehr freundlich, die Ferienjobber könnten allerdings etwas mehr positive Energie und ein Lächeln vertragen. Absolute Empfehlung: Mohn und Mandel :
Bei schönem Wetter an der Seepromenade sitzen mit Ausblick auf den Hafen bei einem Stück Kuchen und einer Tasse Kaffee oder gar ein Eises gibt nichts schönereswir hatten einen Apfelkuchen mit Streusel und Pflaumenkuchrn und wurden freundlich bedient
Mein erstes Spagettieis seit Jahren! Schön ein Eiscafe zu finden, was bei Zöliakie so etwas möglich macht. Es gsb sogar eine sehr leckere glutenfreie Waffel, und das ganze günstiger als die andere Eisdiele gestern

The plattes were all good taste but we didn't pay with credit/debit card. We don't understand why do not accept cards to pay when in other countries is the most used method to pay.
Had a beer here the first day and the food looked so good we returned for lunch the next day. Good service, traditional well prepared German food.
