The restaurant is well located in front of the Rathaus and veary close to the underground parking place of Gmunden. The waitress could not be characterized as welcoming. The menu card has many choices and the prices are normal for austrian standards. A half liter draft beer costs 3,90€ & mineral water 0,75ml around 4,00€. Ι had a gulasch which was fine and the portion was not small. The cost was 11,90€. Additionally, the charge 2,50€ the dumpling (Semmelknoedel). For kids, they have two dishes. One is pork schnitzel and the other is Spaghetti Bolognese which costs 7,50€. The pasta with bolognese was very tasty and my son really liked it. In general, it's a nice restaurant but nothing memorable. If I ever go back to Gmunden I will try another restaurant. Last, I have to mention that everything was very clean.
Wir waren mit der Familie zum Abendessen da. Schon ab der telefonischen Tischreservierung hat eigentlich alles bestens geklappt. Schöner Tisch, freundlich bemühtes Personal auch das Essen wirklich hervorragend. Die Speisekarte eher traditionell und viel Hausmannskost, wenig Kreatives. Die Preise dafür etwas überteuert - man weiß halt die Lage als erstes Haus am Platz auszuspielen. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.
C'è un non so che nell'aria dei corridoi dell'hotel, o nei tavolini della colazione a vista sul lungolago, o forse sono proprio i clienti che suggeriscono uno charme di altri tempi. Stile classico, presentato con classe. Tutto ciò non è attraente per i giovanissimi, ma per le persone come me sugli anta è perfetto.
