Seepark Schiffenen

We wanted to grab lunch by the Schiffenen dam as we passed by. there's a lovely outdoor terrace with lots of seating overlooking the crazy golf course and the lake.The prices were a bit much for us for a quick lunch, so we went to the camp ground café at the other end of the car park.If you were having a special dinner or wanted a leisurely lunch in a gorgeous setting, then I'd recommend this. Or just have a relaxing drink watching the kids tackle the crazy golf.

We had kangaroo and pork with champignons - both were excellent, place itself is very nice service is very good, food is served fast and professional. We had great time, one can also play mini-golf there :D I would recommend ice-cream for dessert and they have also delicious mango sorbet.Why very good and not excellent? well, we paid ~100 chf / 2 people. it is NOT VERY MUCH for Switzerland, but still... anyway if you never had kangaroo try it there

We were at Seepark Schiffenen for the first time. We can't share some of the bad reviews, they didn't apply to our evening. Very friendly service, we really liked the decor of the restaurant. Food was very good, we had perch fillet and venison pepper, both were very tender and tasted great. The appetizer and dessert were also great. We would recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

The food was really good, well perfect.The place is lovely with the view over the dam, and the boats.We ordered the Fillets de Perche, it was the best i ever had.The food for the child was superb also. All homemade with fresh products.Only minor thing the service at the table was slow for a half empty restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

I sat there by the lake with my companion in the beautiful autumn sunshine and enjoyed a coupe. The food is probably good, but there is no ambience around the house, I don't like it

Were hardly noticed. We had to get the card ourselves. After ordering we were given the food without cutlery. Otherwise we were treated with suspicion.
