Really good German restaurant/brewery plus bier garden! I am several times a year in Germany and believe me, I know what I am talking about. The service was perfect (sometimes it is different in bier gardens), the food was perfect, the bier was very good (not really perfect ;-))) but may be because served not really cold). Anyway, I strongly reccomment everyone to visit theis place. The minor point is that the view from the bier garden is to the car parking - not really nice as I would prefer to sit amount the trees as it is normally organized in bier-gardens but be sure that you will not be disappointed with the food they serve. I write the following on our stay in this hotel. It is a clean room but it was ok considering the cost performance. Will we come back? I might if only me and one night. We will probably choose a more reasonable place. They charge...per person and so it's not a good deal at all if you come with a family and stay long. The breakfast is ok with bread, ham, cheese, salad, fruit, cereals, yogurt, with coffee. I think we can order eggs but we were not informed of such options. The Internet was good enough to watch movies, though it took time to get connected. The shower's water pressure was ok, though the shower head needs cleaning. The water temperature was ok for April. There is a large parking....
Our room was spacious and the decor was quite modern. The restaurant and Biergarten were much more traditional, with typical Bavarian fare and the Traunstein Hofbrau beers. Breakfast was an attractive buffet of typical German selections.It was an easy walk into the beautiful old town center, and to the three breweries in town.The only downside was that on Saturday night the adjacent club had loud music until the wee hours. The weather was too warm to sleep with the windows closed, so earplugs were necessary.
I was not very impressed by the food here. The pork roast was a tad bland and boring, as was the side dish of sauerkraut with bacon. The Bavarian stock pot was wishy-washy. Everything just lacked seasoning. At least the portion was huge and the...service was quick despite being busy on a Saturday evening. A good place for having a beer though, try their local specialties on offer.

very fine Restaurant with also outdoorsy places under old tree`s, very good food and a fantastic tast of bavarian beer, realy cheap prices, friendly service and peoples around in the beergarden - 100% rekommnendation for all visitors of this old town Traunstein with here old history.we are shure we are coming once more again in this century !!Magnus Svensson Jönköping - Sweden
The hotel is very clsoe to the main train station and the Klinikum train station. Rooms are spacious and neat. The restaurant is a typical Bavarian restaurant, so not easy if you are a vegetarian But the city center is very close and walkable...with a wide range of restaurants.
in this restaurant they are served very friendly, eating taste excellent and it has a very nice environment. the beer garden is large and cozy, and also regularly will enjoy the ideenful celebration instead of sailor's cellar ritter.
Great food (typical Bavarian with Schnitzel, roast and dumplings, ....) and a friendly and fast service. Go there if you want to enjoy a real Bavarian atmosphere!

It is an amazing place you have to go at nights. They have a lots of bear! The food is very nice too! They are very polite! We can have fun there!
