Seine Rigger - Réservation de table

Before ordering our food I let the staff know I have a dairy allergy to which they looked puzzled. The person cooking the food did not even know that a dairy means you cannot have milk ! I should have known from then that I should’ve left the establishment. Moving on to the food. We decided to have the battered sausage saveloy and a large chips. When we got home were shocked at what we opened. The chips were lifeless and dry, tasted bland you can tell they were cooked in cheap old oil. The saveloy tasted of nothing and the texture was awful ! On to the battered sausage it was greasy and the batter was terrible . Do not recommend !

I'm extremely disappointed. Was treated very poorly, went in for gluten-free fish on a Tuesday, and was informed not available. No notice and I was treated as if I was a freak for asking. Will not be returning. Went elsewhere with the rest of the order. Was different staff to I had previously seen. It was the attitude that really upset me. People assume gluten-free is a choice, not because you are made ill if you eat it.

Had really fun “afternoon tea” with friends, what a great idea! We all had a bit of everything and it was perfect relaxed food to chat over. Food was delicious from normal cod and chips to calamari and scampi and great mix of sauces from tartare to curry. Would recommend. Plus we chatted so long we didn’t realise lunch had finished and shop was closing but staff were very polite.

Wow! It’ simply that- been coming to this restaurant for 48 years and the food is amazing providing a fruitful taste in the mouth. Love the perfectly salted chips and the crispy batter on the fish! Delivery and pickup is rapid. Can’t wait till I treat myself to another cod and chips! Réservez une table maintenant

Something has changed here, this use to be the best fish and chip shop in Surrey. Ordered 3 x large cod (just under £10 each) and this was the size of my fish. Chips were also under cooked.

Good quality fish, superb batter, good chips, ready when it was due, with some good sides too, and friendly service. The best fish chips I've had anywhere for a very long time.

Dedicated fryers for gluten-free fish and chips available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please call 30 minutes in advance. They even offer gluten-free fish shop vinegar.

The only gluten-free fish option available is the battered cod, but it is delicious when served with chips. This is the best fish and chips I have ever had! Réservez une table maintenant

The fish and chips at this restaurant are of excellent quality and are made fresh to order. I highly recommend them.
