The fajitas were particularly tasty, and the white wine complemented the meal perfectly. I have been to this small and cozy restaurant with friends three times now, and each time has been a pleasant experience. The cocktails are very good and there is a nice variety of food to choose from. However, on my most recent visit, the ending left a sour taste in my mouth. The waitress abruptly brought us the bill and asked if we were paying by card, seemingly pushing us to leave quickly. It would have been appreciated if she had given us a gentle reminder that we needed to vacate our table after 1.5 hours, as it felt quite rude to be rushed out without warning. Average experience. Food was alright. I wouldn’t say it was anything special. I had chicken fajitas. I didn’t like a quality of the chicken. Not sure if they used chicken thigh to keep it cheap. You were only given 3 mini tortillas and it was £17 for the dish which I think is quite expensive. The restaurant was really really loud so you can barely hear each other. It’s also very small so make sure to book. The decor is nice. Probably won’t be going back for food but drinks did look nice so maybe for a cocktail.
Our waiter was super friendly and made us welcome immediately. Great menu with good varied dishes. Many Mexican restaurants have only a list of 3-4 fillings that they wrap in different ways. Selminas is characterized by the actual variety and taste in every bite. Appropriate price with their tapas offers at 3 for £16. Good cocktail menu, and very generous with the suits and decorations, with large pieces of fruit. The decor is bright and interesting, but not too overdue or sticky. I love the wallpaper.

NEVER AGAIN. the food was revolting, the 4 of us had the tapas. 3 tapas each at £21 per head. Stone cold bowls of food, full of a mushy mess.The food lacked flavour, like it had been chilled in the fridge before serving us. None of us will ever return or recommend for that matter. I'll be telling people to avoid at all costs Went home and made myself a cheese sandwich. Nothing offered when I told the waiter my food was horrible, just apologised and removed my barely touched food.
Wow! Best meal of 2023. Had 9 tapas plates between 3 of us far too much food. Absolutely stuffed. Could leave it alone. Everyone was delicious. Decor, atmosphere, ambiance and service impeccable. Abut 43 out of 10. If you are looking for somewhere special and can get in 100% do it. Will definitely be back.
This was our first visit to Selminas and it certainly won't be our last. The menu was interesting and the food was cooked perfectly, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing. My only gripe was no puddings... But that absolutely wouldn't put me off going again!! Full marks...
Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Was rammed shoulder to shoulder but still got our drinks and food in an amazing time. The staff were very friendly and polite as well making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back, the food was 10/10 and very reasonably priced

The restaurant had fantastic food, drinks, and service. We enjoyed a lovely meal where the chef even came out to greet us and ensure our food was satisfactory. They even played Happy Birthday!
Has to be one of the best places to go in Coventry. The restaurant is very small but looking past that there is a great atmosphere the food is great and the cocktails are nice too.
