Selva Downtown Sarasota

Our waiter was great! As for the food, what I ate was very good. However. I wasn't happy when two appetizers came out with an orange mayo based dressing drizzled all over them. I can't eat this and the description on the menu never mentions this. I should have sent it back but didn't. I would not expect a spring roll and empanadas to be covered with this. It was perfectly wasted! I would be cautious going back.

We had come from a tribute band concert. It was 10 30pm not many options we saw this place online and reviews were good. OMG increadable the service excellent. The presentation of the food was artistic. I hated to have to delve into these masterpieces of the 4 aputisers we ordered. The food taste was out of this world. You must go as I will again.

We've never been disappointed with Selva's food and service. On July 4 ,there wasn't an empty table inside or out. Yet, the service was impeccable; the food hot and tasty. Selva sets the standard for Sarasota's many fine restaurants. Selva would be a go-to restaurant in any major market. Sarasota is lucky to have them on Main Street.

Absolutely great place to go. Appetizer Octopus was delicious and so was the rack of Lamb and Steak. The bonus was the mouse, whipped cream desert. Great service and very nice, professional waitress and sorry to say that I don't remember her name. We will absolutely go back! Great July 4th place to go. Réservez une table maintenant

Selva is just “ok.” The food is good, but not good enough to justify the price. The atmosphere is above average. The waitstaff is very professional. I would not recommend Selva, but I would not say that dining at Selva is a bad choice either.

We were staying in longboat key and came here for dinner upon recommendation. Eric was absolutely wonderful in all of his suggestions and recommendations and everything was spectacular, including the cocktails. We will certainly come back.

My wife and I were surprised when we found out our friends had never been to Selva so we agreed to go Friday night. Selva didn't disappoint and our friends now have a new downtown restaurant that they love.

The most delicious salmon I've ever had! Micheal, our server, was perfectly attentive and charming. Yummo! Réservez une table maintenant

This place had such a great team from the server to the bartender to the manager and the food was fabulous

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Creative delicious food! Delicious ceviche, love the skirt steak!
