Highly recommend! We were in the restaurant on Labor Day for lunch and it seemed like most of Teaneck was away, so we had the place to ourselves! The staff was helpful and courteous, and the food was outstanding! Also points for great presentation--the food was served in a very appetizing and aesthetically pleasing way. We were a group with several small children and we also were made to feel comfortable and welcomed. Favorites were the smoked lamb, corn muffins, and burnt ends. The OG pizza was great but not what we expected (it was more of a sloppy joe flavor), so I would just keep that in mind prior to ordering. Definitely check out Smoked Bites!
Important note about all reviews here: The restaurant went came under new management within the last 6-8 months and older reviews are from when the store was under the previous owners. The ambiance was nice and the food was amazing. With generous portion sizes, great prices and meats that were amazing this was an all-round superb dinner. I also had the ice cream for dessert, which is made in house by the way, and it was a delicious way to cap off a most wonderful night.
I have been incapacitated for 6 weeks and have ordered various menu items during this time. Whatever I ordered I have to say I enjoyed immensely! I usually don't like spicy food but the spices they use are really fantastic! I recommend anything on the menu very highly as I have tried mostly everything.
Excellent smoked meats and chicken. Wide variety of house made charcuterie that tasted like they should. Stan is a pleasure and all around great guy. I've been there 3 times so far, and each time was thrilled with the food. I highly recommend, which coming from me (as a trained chef) is saying a lot.
