I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant, but it seems they are often closed. It's 3:15 PM on a Thursday, and I arrived at 2:30 PM. I waited for 30 minutes, then went shopping at Ace to kill some time, hoping they might open for lunch. This is the third time I've come during their advertised hours, only to find them closed. I used to live nearby and visited frequently, but now that I'm in Broomfield, I make an effort to support them when I'm in the area. There's never any notice explaining their closures, no one answers the phone, and they refuse to hire more staff. It's frustrating because I enjoy the food, but I really wish Miguel would hire more people or update their hours properly.
This restaurant has become a staple of my work week. There's a reason this restaurant has two locations which have both been open for over 20 years! Their family recipes haven't changed since the beginning and are absolutely delicious. I often get their breakfast burritos which never disappoint but they're known for their chile relleno. Both locations are still family owned and operated which I believe is something worth supporting. The people who work there take pride in their craft and I'm always greeted with a smile. It's a no frills type of place but the room is always clean and has dine in options. The prices are incredibly fair and the portions are never skimpy.
Request it spicy. Aside from that, the food hasn’t really changed much at all—except for the spice level, which used to be standard. In the post-COVID world, it’s hard to find a beloved dish that hasn’t been altered in some way. So, it truly feels like a blessing to discover something that meets your expectations. I only get to visit home every few years, but I always set my GPS for Senior Burritos first thing. After that, I inform my family that I’ve arrived.
I was pressed for time, so I decided to grab a quick burrito. Not feeling like meat at the moment (despite the better reviews for the carne asada), I chose a beef and bean burrito. The prices here are fair, and the ingredients are fresh, but I wasn't a fan of the green chile; it tasted more like beef than chile. I would recommend trying something with the red chile instead, as I overheard another customer claiming it was the best they had ever tasted.

Food over priced for no flavor. And won't hire anyone outside his family. Still has a hire sign out but won't hire unless your family. I've tried for over a year and nothing everytime I go it's his family running and working the place won't hire you if you actually have experience and are so close you can't ever miss work.
Today was my first visit here. I asked if breakfast burrito is an option at around 1:50 pm. The lady said yes so I ordered the chorizo, potatoe, and egg burrito. I was impressed and truly enjoyed it very much. It was delicious and satisfying! I’m definitely coming back!
This is my favorite restaurant in the Denver metro area! They serve the best bean burritos and chips with salsa. I gave the Wadsworth location only 4 stars because they don’t offer delivery like the 1st Ave location, which is unfortunately outside my delivery range.
The staff was exceptional, and the food was incredible! I strongly recommend trying the chips and salsa; the chips were far better than any I've had at other places.
