The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. It took 15 minutes for our server to take our drink and appetizer order, and another 30 minutes to receive the order. Unfortunately, the appetizers came out cold (fries and shrimp rolls), leading me to believe that they had been forgotten and left out at the food station. We had trouble getting our server's attention to order our main dishes and again when we needed the check. Our last drink was brought out at the same time as our to-go boxes, causing us to forget about it completely. Our dining experience started on a positive note as we were promptly seated in the bustling restaurant. The waiter took our drink order within a reasonable amount of time but unfortunately, our food took much longer to arrive. After an hour passed, we had to flag down the waiter who had forgotten about our order. When the food finally came, the paella was dry and had likely been sitting for too long. The waiter apologized and offered us a free dessert or drink, but at that point, we just wanted to leave. This was a business meal and the lead partner was not pleased with the experience. A friend recommended, having lunch and we showed up here and out without reservation. We were probably seated. The decor is classy and truly Mediterranean with elements of architecture built into this modern concrete structure. The entrance with the mosaic of stonework is beautiful. We were going to have dinner, so I went for a late lunch and I ordered the Fattoush salad, which comes with lemon vinaigretteand sumac. For protein I chose falafel which served were hot and crispy. It was an excellent salad, but because I was working, I avoided having a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which will perfectly match with this combination of citrus sumac, vegetables and falafel.
We came for Happy Hour but were disappointed with the overall experience. The service was excellent, however, the loud music made it difficult to have a conversation, even though we were seated outside on the rooftop patio. The food and drinks were mediocre.
