Sensible Edibles is quite honestly my favorite bakery in the world. I first had their delicious bars (highly recommend the raspberry hazelnut and grassroot bars) at cafes around NYC and went to the cute brick and mortar location in LIC to pick up my birthday carrot cake last year; it was a cute and cozy location and the cake was unbelievably scrumptious. Ordering online for delivery is also very easy just got my box before running the NYC marathon! They have incredible vegan options (as well as many other options for those with dietary restrictions) and I can't recommend them highly enough !!!
I absolutely love this place! It's incredibly delicious and has the widest selection of low-sugar, gluten-free, and vegan options I've encountered, not just in NYC, but anywhere in the world. The staff is super friendly, and the stylish store features a bakery right in the back. One of the employees even offers free origami pieces he makes near the entrance on the left. Be sure to grab one of his beautiful creations and consider making a donation. I highly recommend visiting Sensible Edibles Bakery!
I?ve see these at several places around NYC, but I was in the area and decided to drop by. The friendly guy in the front gave me some recs, so I went with the walnut chocolate brownie. It was so good the chocolate flavor was strong, it had the denseness of a brownie, and the nice crunch of the walnuts. I would get this again, but I wanna try the other things first.
I love that Sensible edibles has Gluten Free options for those of us with gluten sensitivities. They have a variety of options to choose from. It?s a great place to come and grab a snack. I just wish that it was in a more convenient location and would love it if they had ready made cakes available.

When in NYC I had one of their raspberry bars at Maman! So delicious that I had to order some when I got home to San Francisco! even shipped across the country, they arrived fresh and SO yummy! My gluten eating husband made me share!!!
I work close by and have to resist the temptation to visit this place every day. Their oatmeal chocolate cookies are my favorite indulgence. The coffee is excellent as well. It's a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!
Freshly baked muffins and cookies. Always love this vegan cocoa bean muffin and chocolate chip muffin. They're the best service. The space is clean and spacious. The oatmeal. Cream whoopie the best.
This banana muffin was so good. Soft, tasty, flavorful. I definitely plan on coming back for more including the cookies. They?re brownies looked amazing too! Vegan for life.
