When my order arrived, the portion sizes were generous, and the food was very filling. The spicy pork was flavorful and had just the right level of heat. However, I was disappointed that, out of the three sides I ordered, I only received cucumbers. Instead, I got broccoli and another item that I hadn't requested. While this was unfortunate, it would have been nice to receive some notification if my selected sides were unavailable.

They offer a satisfying variety of banchan, along with the usual protein options, and I was pleased to see purple rice on the menu. If you prefer, you can even swap the rice for a vegetable base. While the food may not be extremely authentic, I was very pleased with my choice of Spicy Pork. The portion size was generous, and I couldn't finish my bowl! Seoul Kitchen is our favorite restaurant in downtown Redwood City. While there are more comfortable and inviting places nearby, Seoul Kitchen provides a healthy and delicious meal that won’t empty your wallet. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere and a decent meal, consider Milagros on Middlefield. However, if you want a tasty, affordable, and healthier option, my partner and I both believe that Seoul Kitchen stands out above all other restaurants in the downtown area.
This is another fast-casual restaurant that follows the same concept as a burrito bar, which has been a popular trend for the last few years. The base flavors were quite enjoyable, and the sauces elevated the dishes even further. The service is quick, there are a few outdoor tables available, and the prices are reasonable. While it's not exactly what you might see in K-dramas, it definitely gets the job done.

I took a few friends here while we were spending time downtown, and they absolutely loved it, even though they had never tried Korean cuisine before. They still come back frequently whenever they're in the area!
This place isn't quite a restaurant; it feels more like a fast food spot. You queue up to order, pay, and then sit at a sticky table to eat. Getting up afterward is quite the challenge! Additionally, the parking meter at the restaurant was broken, so I had to walk a block to find a functional one. What a hassle!
