We decided to try this restaurant because of the enthusiastic reviews we had read. Upon entering, we were met with an unexpectedly stifling heat inside, which was odd since it was quite warm outside but felt cooler there. Unless you opted for online ordering, preparing to place your order meant enduring the heat. A very friendly young man welcomed us and explained the ordering process. It’s worth noting that all the tofu is deep-fried, and no other options are available. Additionally, the tea comes automatically sweetened, although this isn’t mentioned on the menu, and the staff couldn’t clarify what sweetener was used. One of the best places and hidden gems in the area! Used to get Sesami bowls once a week when i lived in wynnewood and now that we live out in west chester me and my wife still find the time to drive half an hour over just to get some sesami bowls! Food has always been fresh, accurate/correct never any issues with staff or pick up. Portions are large and their teas are good as well. The service is perfect. Attentive and they greet you quickly. They do have a parking lot and you would pass them if you didn't know how good the food truly is! Flavorful and not heavy sodium. Freshly made and the dumplings were great! I enjoyed the bowls in this open space place with view of the kitchen (bonus). I would definitely return and try another bowl it truly doesn't matter what you pick, there is a reason they have such high star ratings.

Sesami offers fast, casual cuisine featuring Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese flavors. This small corner restaurant is at 1531 W Wynnewood Road in Ardmore. I tried the Sesame Tots, Vegetable Spring Roll, and Make Your Own Bowl. Loved the crispy spring roll and spiced tofu. I wouldn't get the soggy sesame tots again.

Everything I've tried has been delicious, from the tots to the made-to-order bowls (I haven't found a combination I don't enjoy). I've only experienced takeout, so I'm not familiar with the dining-in experience, but we've never encountered any issues with our orders.
