We came to Sesamo because of my friend?s recommendation. Even though it was a Friday night and the restaurant was full, it didn't feel too crowded. Great music, design, and a cozy atmosphere. It was a Friday night before Halloween, and the team at Sesamo restaurant did fantastic work with their Halloween decorations. Also, they have nice seating with a big red leather bench. I guess that space is for large groups of 6 and more, and I highly recommend requesting that spot if your group is large enough. The Roasted Broccoli was my favorite, the skirt steak (rare was buttery soft and a **** good meal! The Uni bucatini pasta was scrumptious. The cocktails were tasty (and strong ???? The charcuterie board was teeny tiny and I didn't like the fish paste paté, the bread was also tough to chew on the outer edges (soft and warm on the inside ... but everything else (besides the size was great! If I hadn't stuffed myself I definitely would have tried dessert. And I'll be back to try that Sea Bass (they ran out tonight ???? .
I ordered a mango boba cocktail that featured mango popping boba, the mackerel carbonara, and a mousse cake, which I think was pistachio. The pasta had an excellent texture and was cooked to perfection, absolutely al dente. The cake was incredible—I simply couldn’t stop eating it! It had a wonderfully delicate texture and wasn't overly sweet. I also want to give a shout-out to our waiter/bartender, who handled an avalanche of cocktail orders and even made ten espresso martinis at the end. You are the real MVP!
The service was excellent. Sam was very friendly, and the server was fantastic. I ordered the mackerel fish with fettuccine pasta, which was delicious, but I found it a bit small in portion. My friend had the chicken parmesan, which came in a generous serving and was quite tasty. I also enjoyed an espresso; it was superb! The outdoor dining area had heaters, so we stayed warm throughout the meal. We had a delightful experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
Me and my husband love Italian food so any time we're in Hell's kitchen we pick a new Italian restaurant to try out. We ate pretty clean the last few weeks and wanted beef. So glad we chose SESAMO. Their steak was really good and flavorful and my husband enjoyed teh uni bucatini. Really good dining experience all around, from the customer service to the food and atmosphere. Definitely gets 5 stars from me!
I visited this restaurant for the second time tonight, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is charming and cozy. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. All the dishes I tried were delicious, and the chicken was particularly impressive—so moist, even the breast!
Sesamo offers incredibly delicious food! I really enjoy their brunch and dinner menus. I've never come across boba cocktails anywhere else! Their brunch and carbonara are fantastic. My absolute favorite dish, however, was the white pepper lemon ricotta cake for dessert!
