there would take several more visits to give a fair review of this place, so I will only give a few different impressions. I cook very to house so that I engraved in restaurants to objects that are difficult for me to make perfect, or to do additional steps to prep, or somehow surprise me. the strongly vegan food card (axles) looked dense with the type of low-fat meal I would cook myself on weekday: a jambalaya, a tagin type thing, another pancake, etc. the article that was clearly out of this trend was the lasagne, the only non- vegan article. So I ordered the Couscous court and hoped for a spin on the teller. my mother ordered the lasagne and enjoyed very much. she is a picky enough food,...

First time here. Had to put our name and number on a wait list but the hostess never texted us. Eventually we went back up and were seated. Our server was pleasant but made several mistakes regarding our order. Pencil and paper go a long way here. The wrong appetizers were brought to our table but we offered to take them. One was supposed to be comped but wasn’t and added another $12.95 to our bill. She unfortunately put the order in incorrectly and this was also due to not writing anything down. We ordered two appetizers, a soup, a side dish, three entrees and two desserts and a beverage. We were an $100 bill for two people. The highlights of the meal were the General Tso’s Cauliflower, the...

seva is on a small side street, in which what seems to be an art collective. it's a bit tricky to find, but as soon as you get there, it's a bright, open space. it is completely vegetarian, and most of the items can be made vegan. my friend and I ordered to share a bruschetta, a great appetizer with brot, tomaten, olivenhahn and mandel pesto. it was fun to put them together and totally delicious. he ordered the jambalaya and I got the mushroom French dip with vegan cheese. I think we have ordered a bit much to eat as the portions are generous (especially the big baptism of fries that came with my sandwich it did not stop us from sharing a dessert, the chocolate skyberry cake. the service was...

in detroits constantly expanding vegan scene, seva is today one of the oldest places that are still there. while eating is not as flashy as some more recent place, it is always good and seems to be received especially well by omnis. they are open to most days, have great seats inside and outside, and a full bar. it may not be the first place to think for me, but always a solid option.

Very difficult to find, especially at night. The food was good, but the service was really bad. They got orders wrong, took a VERY long time to do everything, charged us wrong several times, and were rude. I would be a little more understanding if they were busy, but they weren’t at all. We also had 3 people in our party all find hair in their food. Oh, and it’s very overpriced.

Seva can be hit of miss depending on what you order, since their menu is so large some things end up being better than others and some things end up worse, and there is sometimes inconsistencies with the same dishes from day to day. I would still recommend it, but just be aware of that so you aren’t disappointed!

Stopped by after a visit to the DIA. Friendly and efficient staff. Cocktails were very good. I loved my Smoke on the Guava. The food was quite good. We’ll definitely go back. Nice to have vegan choices in Detroit.

Had the African peanut soup and tempeh Caesar salad and can’t recommend them enough!!! Such flavorful spices in the soup and the Caesar was really, really great
